A trip to Carlsbad NM

Here are some shots of our latest adventure to Carlsbad Caverns and points east (of El Paso)



You can take the elevator, but we elected to walk down (over a mile). Luckly they "made" us take the elevator back up.



Here is an indian cave not far from Carlsbad.


This is "Hueco Tanks" (magma with holes that catch water.) The flow is actually quite large and a Mecca for rock climbers.
